China Food and Drinks Fair turn有朋s online after delay

BEIJING, June 14 (Xinhua開遠) -- The 102nd China Food 地黑and Drinks Fair (CFDF) w秒弟ill be held online from July 28 to 30電看 after a postponement due愛音 to COVID-19, according to the e書美vent's organizing committee體笑.

Known as a barometer of the industr坐從y, the biannual fair was o高妹riginally scheduled to be held fr熱好om May 21 to 23 in Chengdu, 通中capital city of southwestern China&#理多39;s Sichuan Province.

The committee said in an雪場 online statement that it鄉民 decided to make the event v裡信irtual amid the country's effort窗場s to consolidate COVID-19 prevention 中路and control, expecting 離來the fair to further promote work and月區 production resumption in t吃個he food and drinks industry.

The committee will team up wi有去th e-commerce giant Alibab物知a in using new technologies s刀生uch as artificial intellig商是ence and cloud computing to facilit去土ate online showcasing, market視問ing, and deals during the fair.

It also announced that preparat喝熱ions are underway for holding the 但議 103rd CFDF in an exhibition書很 center in Jinan, capital city of 路光east China's Shand雪內ong Province, from Oct. 13 to 15.
